This notice supplements our Privacy Policy. It explains how we process your data when you sign up on documentations.relyd.co for our e-book and the monthly "relyd Insights", when you download a document and when we send you the monthly issue. For everything not covered here, the Privacy Policy applies.
1. Who is responsible
The controller is relyd Limited, 3 Ballsbridge Park, Dublin, D04 C7H2, Ireland. Contact for all data protection matters: privacy@relyd.co.
2. Which data we process
When you sign up, we store:
- your e-mail address;
- your name and company, if you enter them;
- the language of the page you used;
- where you signed up (for example the documentation site or a link in one of our e-mails);
- whether you also want to receive the monthly relyd Insights;
- the date and time of your sign-up, of your confirmation and, if applicable, of your unsubscription;
- how often you have downloaded a document with your personal link;
- a random access key, of which we store only a one-way hash.
We do not store your IP address with your sign-up. The technical data of every website visit (such as IP address and browser) is processed as described in section 2.1 of our Privacy Policy and deleted after at most 30 days.
3. Purposes and legal basis
- Sending you the e-book and the monthly relyd Insights, and giving you access to earlier issues: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You give it by signing up and confirming your address with the button on the page we send you by e-mail (double opt-in). Without confirmation you receive nothing except that one e-mail.
- Proving your consent (time of sign-up and confirmation): our legitimate interest and our legal obligation to be able to demonstrate consent (Art. 6(1)(f) and Art. 7(1) GDPR).
- Counting downloads: our legitimate interest in knowing which documents and languages are read, so that we can improve them (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). For the statistics we use only totals per document, language and day, without reference to any person. The counter on your sign-up shows only how often your personal link was used.
4. Links in our e-mails
Our e-mails contain a direct link to the current issue. Opening it is counted only as a total per document and language; we do not record who opened it. We do not use tracking pixels.
5. Recipients
- Hosting: the documents and your sign-up are stored with our hosting provider in the EU (see our list of subprocessors).
- E-mail: the confirmation e-mail is sent through our e-mail service provider.
- Newsletter service: if we use a newsletter service to send the monthly issue, it processes your e-mail address, name and language on our behalf as a processor. It is added to our list of subprocessors before it is used.
We do not sell your data and do not pass it on for other companies' advertising.
6. How long we keep your data

7. Withdrawing consent and unsubscribing
You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future: use the unsubscribe link in every e-mail, the unsubscribe page behind your personal link, or write to privacy@relyd.co.
8. Your rights
You have the rights described in section 8 of our Privacy Policy: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, objection and complaint to a supervisory authority.
9. Changes
We may update this notice. The current version is always available on legal.relyd.co.
